Michael J. Katos operates The Katos Group LLC, which is engaged by law firms and corporate law departments to provide leadership and management development training through his affiliation with the Leadership Development Institute at Eckerd College, a network affiliate of the Center for Creative Leadership. In addition to these training programs, Mr. Katos assists law firms searching for top administrators and those who report to the Executive Director or Chief Operating Officer. Within the scope of his work, Mr. Katos also serves as COO for Drinker, Biddle & Reath LLP in Philadelphia where he recently lead the integration of DBR's acquisition of the Chicago firm, Gardner, Carton & Douglas. Mike received his BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia and MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. Mike has a distinguished business record at the corporate level in the insurance and high tech industries. Prior to forming his consulting practice Mike was Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer for several of the most prominent law firms in the country. He has held numerous leadership positions within the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) at both the local and international levels and is past President of the Foundation of the Association of Legal Administrators (FALA). Mike has spoke and written about business and leadership issues to various audiences throughout the country.
